Additional Costs Groups

Additional Costs Groups

Additional Cost Groups:
Cost Groups are added to quotes in 4 different ways. By the Default Quote, the Aircraft Rate Type (the rate chosen from within the quote), from the Customer’s Profile, or manually selected.
In the below screenshot, you will see an example of the Additional Cost Module. The ARINCDirect Flight Services Costs could be used to create a Default Cost Group for all quotes.

The Default Quote is generated from the Quotes Module, and choosing Options/Set Default from the taskbar.

This will open a new quote window with what is in the current default quote. You can Add, Edit, Copy, Remove Individual Cost Items, or Add Entire Cost Groups to the Default. *Note, this will only affect the future quotes.

You see on the left of the Additional Costs Window, there are several Groups that are listed. These “Additional Cost Groups” can be used to associate lists for different types of quoting. The Rate Default “BRKR” or “CHTR” is allowing you to automatically have that list of costs each time you quote a trip with those Rate Types, which could (for example) allow you to define which you would like to add segment tax based on the rate type.

This is done simply by selecting the Rate type from the drop down on the right of the module window.

You can also create a list for a specific Customer. For instance, if you would like to charge an additional cleaning fee for a customer that always brings their large dogs.

This connection for the Client would be within the Passenger/Client record ->Report Tab

And Lastly, you can add the Costs Manually individually, or add Groups manually from within the Quotes.
