Configuring Citrix Workspace Application on iOS

To utilize the full version of FOS on an iPad or iPhone, you can install the Citrix Workspace App from the Apple App store and configure it to the hosted sites URL. Keep in mind you are utilizing the screen on your mobile device so this may not be ideal for a full days work in the system. 


1. Download the Workspace Application and click on the Setting Symbol in the upper right corner.


2. Select Add an Account.
3. Enter the Hosted Site URL (this is the same URL that you access when logging into FOS on a computer: go.portside.aero). Then click continue.

3b. After this, depending on the version of the Workspace app in the Apple App Store, you may be able to navigate to the native Safari app on the Apple devices and go to go.portside.aero then log in with your Citrix credentials. Again, depending on the app version you may need to proceed to steps 4-5 to access FOS.

4. When you are prompted for credentials use your Citrix username and password, just like the computer. 
NOTE: You cannot change your password on this tool, that remains a task completed on the computer. If you change your Citrix password, you will need to reconfigure the iOS app with the latest password.


5. Once you are logged into the application launch your FOS Icon. If you have never logged into Citrix with this account you may need to select All Apps.
