Deleting Temp Files

Deleting Temp Files

1. Make sure the user is logged out of FOS.
2. Locate the FOS\data folder *if unsure, in FOS, choose Help at the top then down to About*:

3. Navigate to that location. Drive\fos\data\tmp\windows username\FOS user ID (in this case lwarren1528200/warl). *there may be multiple FOS ID folders within the windows user folder, that just signifies all of the FOS accounts the user has logged into, our concern with this task is with only the FOS ID having the issue*

4. Inside that folder are TMP and FOS files. At a minimum you can clear the TMP files types. However, clearing all might be the required step if the issue is not resolved by only clearing TMP. Note that the FOS files pertain to the window settings in FOS. The user might have to reset some of the fonts/window settings if the entire folder is cleared.
