DUO Enrollment for Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)

PLEASE DOWNLOAD THE DUO MOBILE APP FROM THE APPLE APP OR ANDROID PLAY STORE TO AN IPHONE, IPAD, OR ANDROID PHONE FIRST.

1. Users should click on the registration setup link in the email from DUO Security from a device OTHER than what they loaded to above mentioned app to. This DUO Security email would have come from (no-reply@duosecurity.com).

2. The user will be prompted to select next through a series of screens during the registration process. 
NOTE: If the enrollment prompts are not selectable, try using a different web browser.


3. The user will be prompted to Download the Duo Mobile app on their device. It can be found in the Apple and Google Play App Stores. 

Download the app will open the app store where the app can be installed on your mobile device. 
Open the app will open the Duo app if it is already installed on your mobile device.
Skip for now - will allow the user to continue the registration process on a computer 


4. Users are encouraged to set up the Duo Mobile option to accept authentication attempts from their mobile device. This is the setting for "push" notifications whereas the Phone Number option below will set you to receive a phonecall each time you need to authenticate.

5. Enter the mobile device phone number and select Add phone number.

6. Verify the phone number is correct on the next screen and select Yes, it's correct.

7. Select the QR code method for activating MFA on your device. Open the app on the mobile device and click + at the top right and Use QR code. Scan the presented QR code from the mobile device. The app will load the connection as "FOS". You can keep that name or change it if you wish. 

8. Once successfully added to your mobile device, select Continue to complete the MFA setup process.
