Error:

An error occurred while trying to rename a file in the destination directory:

MoveFile failed; code 183.

Cannot create a file when that file already exists.

Solution:

Executable files are likely stuck open somewhere, either on the FOS Server or a User's machine.

1. Click the "Abort" button.

2. On the server, select Administrative Tools --> Server Manager --> Roles --> File Services -->Share and Storage (right click) --> select Manage Open files

3. Select the C:\FOS files and close selected. You will get a pop up – as long as no users are connected click OK. If this does not work, you can also reboot the FOS server to clear any open files / connections.

4. After closing the open files / connections, re-perform the steps for the FOS Update.

***Another option, rather than performing Steps 2-4, is to reboot the FOS server.
