Error:

Solution:
If the FOS Database is not listed in the Pervasive Control Center, however the user receives an error that the database already exists when trying to create the database open the registry editor.
Locate the:
- HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\ODBC\ODBC.INI.
- Locate the FOSData key and delete it.
- Then open the ODBC Data Sources key and delete the FOSData from inside of it.
The FOS Database will now be able to be re created in the Pervasive Control Center. Ensure the Create dictionary files (if they do not exist) and Relational integrity enforces boxes are unchecked and the Create 32-bit Engine DSN check box is checked.
