After updating Vendor Alliance to version 3.11.3.2 or higher the following error message appears when trying to start the FosVendorSyncService on the server.



The FosVendorSyncService service on Local Computer Started and then stopped.Some services stop automatically if they are not in use by other services or programs.
Users may also report seeing the following in the Event Log on the server: Service cannot be started. System.ArgumentException: '0' is not a valid value for 'Interval'. 'Interval' must be greater than 0.



Solution:

Confirm the pervasive Database name, dll path, and service installation path are all listed correctly in the FosVendorSyncService config file.
