Error:  The program can’t start because W3BTRV7.DLL is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem.

Solution:

The workstation will need the 32-bit client version on Pervasive installed. If Pervasive is already installed on the machine it is likely the 64-bit client version and needs to be uninstalled from the machine.

Note: Even if the machine is a 64-bit you still must install the 32-bit version as FOS is a 32-bit application.

Prior to installing Pervasive on the workstation you must verify what version of Pervasive your company is using. Once you have verified the Pervasive version go to the Pervasive website and download the 32-bit client version.

The below screen shot is an example for downloading the client version for Pervasive 12 and the site may be accessed here.

When you select download you will be prompted to sign in or create an account. You cannot download the software unless you create an account with Pervasive. Once the download is complete FOS should be able to launch without issue.
