FOS Technical Support does not manage FOS usernames or passwords. These profiles are managed internally by the respective company. A FOS User may utilize the Forgot Password button on the FOS login screen to reset their own FOS Password though, so as not to disturb their company representative(s).
Prerequisite:
To use this function, an email address will first need to be entered in the FOS User Profile > Fgt Pwd Email field. Once this single step of the setup is complete, users can begin to use the self-service password reset tool for FOS.
Forgot Password Workflow:
1. On the FOS Login page, choose Forgot Password.
2. A message will appear that the pincode has been sent to the email address of the user. The subject of the email will be "Password Reset Request valid for 24 hours:" and be sent from the address in your FOS Company record. Users may need to check their inbox, junk, or spam folders as well as any filters they may have set if they do not receive the email.
3. Select OK. Enter the pincode from the reset email and reset the password. Once the change is complete the user will be able to log into FOS.
