Fuel Tab

Fuel Tab

The Fuel tab within an airport records allows users to view the fuel prices at the airport.

Fuel prices can be manually entered into the database or there is the ability to import csv files from fuel vendors and the prices will show on this tab. Collins Aerospace fuel prices are automatically imported and updated into the various airport records daily. Additional information on how to import a csv list into FOS can be found in the article titled Fuel Import Guide

Fuel can easily be shopped and pulled into the legs of the trips. There are three sort options: FBO, Vendor or Cost.

If you choose a fuel vendor at a different airport from that is currently listed, a warning will be received. If "Yes" is selected, FOS will automatically change your FBO to the one linked to the fuel vendor for the selected price.

When viewing the fuel record, if the effective date has passed, check the box to mark this record as past. Marking older fuel prices as “Past” keeps the data for historical records or reports.

Show Past Prices - Checking this box will list all current and past pricing for the airport record.

Replace Fuel Vendor - Use caution with this feature as it will replace a fuel vendor with another in all past and future trips. Check the box “replace fuel vendor” choose two vendors in the list, click on “Replace Fuel Vend” and a pop up box confirming the change will open.

Click change and a verification window will popup since this function can’t be undone.

Once completed, it will display the number of legs that were opened and changed.
