How to setup "Windows Authentication" for Hosted Customers

Confirm the Authentication is set correctly on the General Tab of Company Data.

The ‘User Authentication’ section determines how the users can be configured to log into FOS.
FOS – all users log into FOS by inputting a user name and password at the login window
Windows – FOS is configured to use the Windows username and password to log in and needs no further authentication
Windows or FOS – Users may either be set to have FOS use the Windows log in information or they can be set to enter their user name and password at the FOS login window
Windows and FOS – FOS requires that the FOS user be set with the Windows username and that they have to log in at the FOS window with the user name and password that matches that profile

Once the Authentication has been selected to Windows or Windows OR FOS the next step is to set up the authentication in the user profile.

In the User Profile, the Windows User field needs to be populated and the Authentication needs to be set to Windows. Hosted Customers will need to enter their Citrix username in this field. Once the Citrix username is populated, and the authentication is set to “Windows,” the program will automatically* load when the icon is clicked launched. *The first time the user logs into FOS they will need to enter their FOS Password, however from then on, the FOS Program will automatically.
