Introduction to the Training Module

The training module in FOS is a fully functioning training records system that interacts with the scheduling, flight logs, and currency requirements for the crewmembers and other company personnel.
Training items may be kept for non-aircraft specific training or type and type rating specific items. The module is fully customizable and easily maintained as the individual inherits specific criteria based on what is set in the template for the training item.
Each item may be set up for time specific requirements or proficiency requirements based on time or number of events accomplished in a certain period. The item is capable of creating logbook entries for the pilot based on a standard set of criteria defined in the item.  As with many of the modules in FOS , the training items may also be interfaced with courses from specified training vendors so that the item is automatically signed off when the crewmember
accomplishes training at an approved vendor facility.
