Setting up Arinc FOS for Android Application

Setting up Arinc FOS for Android Application
(For Any General Setup Errors see the bottom of the document)

1. Navigate to the Google play store and search for ARINC FOS
2. Download the Application, once the application is installed select open and you will be greeted with the configuration screen
  1. Within the configuration screen you will notice there are 4 fields to reference. ( See Example Below )
    1. The Device ID
    2. Administrator User Name
    3. Password
    4. Host URL


  1. Device ID – This ID from the mobile app will need to be populated within the User profile under the mobile tab in the Legacy Device ID section. This is a unique ID per device and must be typed exactly as it appears. You can choose the "Email Device ID" to send the ID via email to your company FOS admin so they can copy/paste into the applicable field.

  1. Administrator User Name / Password – These credentials are the FOS user credentials for hte individuals FOS profile.  Your companies FOS admin will be able to provide this to you.

  1. Host URL – The Host URL can be found within the Company Module under the Web Tab. Please note you will need to add the characters “an” before “.asmx” to designate the users is on an Android. See the example URL (you will need to locate the Host URL in your FOS and add the "an")
  2. https://fosmobile.portside.aero/mobile/techsupport/fosmobilewasan.asmx

  1. By following the directions above your Mobile configuration should go from a blank setup to being populated like the example below.


  1. Once all the fields are populated hit submit and a terms and services agreement will populate select Accept and it will then prompt you that the configuration is complete and to restart the application.
