Time Tab

Time Tab

The Time tab with an airport record can be used for checking the operating times for each airport. Most of the data on this tab will be populated by the Airport Update.

The Attendance Field will usually give a brief description of the operating hours. All/All/All is indicating the airport is open 24/7/365. These times can be entered in but are not necessary in the days below. The 00:00 is indicating this airport is open ALL hours.

The Warning checkbox will give a popup warning if you are scheduling a trip to arrive or depart outside of the operating hours listed.

If slots are required at this specific airport, the slot required times can be entered. Check one or both of the departure slot or arrival slot to receive a popup warning if you are scheduling a trip to arrive or depart within the required slot times.

If a departure or arrival slot is required and indicated in the airport, there is an option to apply for the slot directly from ARINCDirect. There is a “req” button in the trip leg below the airport. Simply click on the “req” button and a new window will open up where this slot can be requested via ARINCDirect (subscription required).

The Extra Time is used to enter in any extra ground, departure taxi or arrival flight or arrival taxi time. This will add the amount of time listed to the times already built in for the aircraft type (see below diagram).
  1. Ground – will add to the default ground time for a stop at this airport. If you normal ground time is 30 minutes and put in 15 extra minutes here in the airport record, FOS will automatically plan for 45 minutes ground time when operating into this airport.
  2. Departure Taxi – will quite simply add time to the block time, specifically when departing.
  3. Arrival Flight – allows you to add flight time to the segment, when arriving at the airport. Congested airspace or airports with special approach procedures might be suitable candidates for this additional time.
  4. Arrival Taxi – adds time to the block time on arrival. Exactly the same as the departure taxi above, only for arrivals instead of departures.

If there is any extra time added to any of the four above, it will add time to the normal calculated block and flight times within a leg. The extra time we be added to the ETE (Estimated Time Enroute).

Frequencies & Phone Numbers can be populated for reference or to pull on a report.

Curfew times, if applicable, will need to be entered. If there is a curfew for certain aircraft Stage 1-3 will need to be entered in as well. If times are entered, click the appropriate radio button of None, Voluntary or Mandatory curfew.

The ARO/Slot and Curfew comments are completed by the data contained in the UV Airport database. This date is not modifiable and if any changes need to be made, please email tech support with the changes and they will alert UV Air to have the data verified.
