Training Module: Training Item Groups
The Training Module main screen is divided into four columns: Training Item Groups, Members of the Group, Training Items, and Crew Training Items (members of the specific item).
Training Item Groups are created to contain training items for the personnel assigned to that group.
Std = Standard group, members are manually added by right clicking in the white space of the members column and choosing add/remove.
TRating = Type Rating group, members will be automatically added to the group if they hold the type rating matching the type listed.
ACType = Aircraft Type group, members will be automatically added to the group if they are qualified in AC type matching the type listed.
Clicking on the red ‘+’ at the top of the training groups view will allow you to add a new training item, revealing the following screen. Choose the radio button first, for the group type, then complete AC Type or Type Rating based on the radio button selected. You can also filter on the right for the group to apply only to those at a certain company or base; that is then configured in the Personnel profile for each crewmember.
For A/C Type groups, an aircraft type will be selected.
A Type Rating group will include all aircraft in a specific type rating. To make this effective, the type rating must be set in the aircraft type data on the “Specs” tab.
The "Category" and “Class” groups will add any pilots qualified in aircraft that belongs to that specific category and class.
