Trip and Quote Numbers Mismatched

If you come across trip and quote numbers not matching, but you would like them to, you can complete this process.

1. Ensure "Quote and Trip Numbers are Read Only" is de-selected within Company > Quotes & Req tab.  Be sure to turn this setting back on once these steps have been completed unless you have a process whereby this should remain unchecked for internal needs.

 

2. Note the number of your next new TRIP along with your next new QUOTE.

3. Open the quotes module, select the options drop down, and set default. This will open the default quote where you will be able to change the quote number and select okay to save. Choose a number substantially higher than your highest number in your findings in step 2.

 

4. Going forward, any trip you schedule from a quote will carry over the quote number to be the trip number.
