Updating the FOS Mobile Web Services

Please note: The following are general instructions used to install the FOS Mobile Host. Please tailor your specific installation accordingly.

FOS Mobile Web Services
1. Right click on the old back up config file, open in wordpad and copy to the desktop, (web.config)
      -By default this file is located at C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\FosMobileWS\
2. Go to add/remove programs – uninstall the old FOS Mobile Web Service
3. When running the FOS Installer you will see the option to install the latest FOS Mobile Web Service version.
4. After installation finishes, right click on the new web.config file, open in wordpad. Compare the new and old config files and make appropriate changes to the point to your server and database.(web.config)
5. Restart the Web service if necessary

*The below screenshot is an example of the config file. The config file may look different based on the version of FOS.
