Users Module - Operations Tab

Permission levels for all scheduling functions including trips, quotes, and flight logs are set on this tab. If your user is in a group, more outlined here about that, the permissions on this tab will come from what is set in the group profile.


  1. Edit Notes Created by Other Users - User may edit notes created by other users.
  2. Restricted Trip Access - Allows access to any trip with the “Restricted” box checked. This includes the ability to see the trip in the ARINCDirect FOS Mobile application.
  3. Restricted Trips Show as N/A - If the user does not have access to “Restricted” trips, those trips will show on the schedule board as N/A. If checked, there will be no display on the schedule for trips marked “Restricted.”
  4. Trip Cost Information - Display the “Cost” tab in the trip and the information contained within it.
  5. Can Not Access Audit Trail - Restricts the user from the Audit Trail within the trip and flight log.
  6. Checklist Groups Read Only - Restricts the user from setting up or modifying checklist groups in the Checklist Menu. This does not affect use of the checklist within a trip.
  7. Edit Only Leg Services & Coms - If “Trip Itineraries” is set to Read Only, this allows the user to only edit leg services and comments without allowing them permission to alter times, airports, etc. within the leg.
  8. Send Crew Brief - User has permission to send the crew briefing. If option is not selected, the user will receive an error when the brief is being sent.
  9. Trip Interfaces - User has permission to use the interfaces within the trip.
  10. Release Trips - User has permissions to check the Release Trip box in a trip.


  1. Invoice Quotes - Allows the user to mark the quote as “Invoiced.”
  2. Unscheduled Quotes - Allows the user to uncheck the “Scheduled” box in a quote.
  3. Addl Cost Template Items Read Only - Additional cost items menu will be a read only view. This does not affect the use of the additional costs within a quote.
  4. Quote Owner Cost and Margins - User may view the owner costs displayed along with the margin for the quote.
  5. Can Not Access Audit Trail - User is unable to access the audit trail within the quote.
  6. Can Not Edit Invoiced Quotes - User is unable to edit a quote that has been marked “Invoiced.”
  7. Relink Quotes and Trips - User will have permission to link trips and quotes.


  1. Must Run Legality on Flight Following - Added FOS user permission to force the legality check when manually Flight Following. When selected, the “OK” option in the manual flight following screen will be grayed out, forcing users to select "OK & 30 Day Legality Ck."


The default radio buttons will allow the user to have access to either be able to edit their scheduling defaults and display options, or not. When selecting “Full Access” the user is allowed to change their own defaults.
