Error: Exception while processing the request Error Message : String was not recognized as a valid DateTime. Stack Trace Message : at System.DateTimeParse.ParseExact(String s, String format, DateTimeFormatInfo dtfi, DateTimeStyles style) at FosMobileService.FosMobileController.ProcessMobileRequest(MobileRequest request)






Solution:

If receiving this error in an expense:
This error is received because the expense (originating from FOS) did not have a receipt date. New expenses created from ARINC FOS will automatically populate a Receipt Date, however, expenses that originated from FOS (from the FuelerLinx Interface) may not have a Receipt Date populated. The ARINC FOS application will be adjusted in a later version to automatically populate the receipt date, however, until then, the Receipt Date must be entered before submitting the edited expense.
*This issue has been resolved in ARINC FOS version 3.2.


If receiving this error in a flight log:
The exact cause and solution for this is still TBD since we have not been able to successfully replicate and fix. Users may try the following:
  1. Open the FOS Application Settings on the Mobile Device --> User Account --> Select "Connect". After this, try resubmitting the flight log.
  2. Submit a different flight log and then go back to the original flight log giving the error and resubmit.
