Airport mix-up in FOS Mobile

Airport mix-up in FOS Mobile

There are some airports in the FOS platform that share the same Airport ID (examples: HND - seen in KHND, Henderson NV as well as RJTT, Tokyo Japan along with CRQ - seen in KCRQ, Carlsbad, CA as well as SBCV, Caravelas Brazil).

The issue is when the airport date is seen in mobile, there may be a mix up in some of location details. This issue has been reported to the FOS Engineers and they are actively working on a resolution.

Example of what a user may experience: this trip is scheduled to Henderson, Nevada. The core FOS platform depicts this, but the mobile app is mixing up the identifier with that of Tokyo, Japan. It has been noted that if the user taps into the leg summary and back to the calendar, once the app refreshes the data will appear correct. However, later utilization of the app could revert it back to the incorrect dataset. It does not appear to matter if the mobile app settings are using ICAO or IATA.
