Configuring Aircraft for the Maintenance Vendor Alliance
When the FOS Vendor Alliance is used for an aircraft maintenance interface, the Maintenance Interface section in the Aircraft Record will display the selection from the Vendor Alliance module.
The “Import” options in the aircraft record are hidden. Two “Export” options are available: “Flight Log Times” and “Aircraft Schedule.” Details on the information that is sent between FOS and the Vendor are below.
Sent from FOS to Maintenance Vendor:
- Flight Log Times
- Aircraft Schedule
- CASS Items
Sent from Maintenance Vendor to FOS:
- Maintenance Items
- CASS Items
If an aircraft has already been selected for another maintenance provider, the user will receive a pop-up warning when selecting the aircraft in the maintenance vendor configuration screen. If “Yes” is selected, the aircraft record will update to the vendor alliance selection.
When sending the Aircraft Schedule to the maintenance vendor the “All Holes in Schedule” radio button must be selected for the schedule to be sent.
In the Vendor Alliance Module, enter a number of days in the “Maintenance Days to Send” field. This field allows the user to control how many days forward the schedule is being sent to the selected Maintenance provider.
