Introduction to the Vendor Module
The vendor screen allows a location to keep all of the data related to vendors that is required for your company records. Vendor records may be added to the crewmembers, aircraft, and airport services data so that you can access it from each of those types of records to contact or find information quickly when necessary.
To access the “Vendor” list, click on that icon from the main menu of FOS.
The vendor record or vendor list that has been added in the crewmembers, aircraft, and airport services data may be accessed by clicking on the “Vendor” button or the lookup button.

Vendor List
As with most list in FOS, the Vendor list may be sorted and filtered in various ways. The lookup function is available as a drop-down menu or by using the lookup fields at the top of the list. The “Report” menu shows available reports set up under the Vendor group.
One of the uncommon features of this list is the availability of a vicinity search function. The user may search for airports in the vicinity of the vendor, other vendors in the vicinity of the selected vendor, and other vendors in the vicinity of the airport selected in the vendor profile. None of the options work unless an airport has been entered in the Vendor Data.
