There is one Interfaces tab that has multiple sub tabs.
The Interfaces Tab permits the user to create settings as well as enter account and password information for various interfaces compatible with FOS. All usernames, passwords, etc., will be provided by the vendor in which the user is interfacing.
“Time Settings” Section:
Interface Timer Interval - Determines how often, by hours and minutes, the Interface Manager will update when started. It is recommended that the interval is not set below 10 minutes, so that the interface manager has time to complete each time it updates.
ARG/US, Wyvern, Guardian - These three interfaces work at a separate time interval and will update at the interval specified in the number of days. If set below 7 days the data will be rejected and will not be updated.
Flight Plan Timer Interval/ Flight Plan Period - These time settings determine how often, and for what period FOS sends information to the PPS and/or the Honeywell GDC interfaces for flight planning.
Flight Data Interface - This box must be checked for any of the Flight Data Interface tables to load data into FOS. This includes the interfaces with flight following companies and FOS Mobile.
TSA Secure Flight (No Fly List) - This feature is currently not available.
Updates Table - Provides flags to FOS data tables for custom interfaces indicating that something has changed within the specified table. This will allow the custom interface to continue to function properly.
Purge Quote Requests older than - Automatically purges quote requests that are older than a certain number of days.
Purge Using - This feature allows the user to set the range for quote requests to be purged and if they would like the range to look at the Departure or Received date.
Airport Section:
Automatic Update - Selecting this checkbox will allow your FOS system to auto run the ARINC airport updates while users are logged in.
Day - Utilizing this drop down menu, users can select what day they want the automatic airport update to run.
Server Time - Users can designate what time they want the automatic airport update to run, please note that this time will be based on your server's time zone.
ITS Service Provider Updates Section:
Manually Update ITS Provider - users will need to manually select to update the ITS Provider per the process outlined here, under "using the interface".
Ask when Trip is Saved - a popup will be shown allowing the user to determine if they would like to submit changes to the ITS Service Provider with a yes or no option. The criteria listed in the automatic option below will be used for the popup option as well.
